I pass the old pea viner barn in Hyrum, Utah everyday. It’s quite a large barn that earned its place in our local labor history. Now it stands peaceful and solid, a landmark and a shady place for both beehives and cows. I feel different about this barn now that I’ve painted it. It caused me to dig into the rich history that often exists in small towns and connected me more deeply to where I live.
5×7-inch Print on watercolor fine art paper, matted to 8×10 inches.
I hope this painting pulls you into a simpler time, and connects you to rural life. -Staci
