Red Barn Below Willard Peak

from $20.00

Driving in northern Utah, barns sit like markers on the land. This red barn wanted to be painted twice in different styles. Red barns are symbolic of so much, but I love that their bright color helps direct ranchers and animals back home during blizzards. I painted the mountains as more of a pattern in the background because of how those hardy, little trees dot the landscape, and to show the repetitive, undulating lines of the slopes.

  • Watercolor on thick 100% cotton fine art paper ensures vibrant colors and long-lasting beauty set in a 15×18” rustic, black-stained, genuine wood frame.

The classic red American barn is a powerful symbol of strength & shelter. I hope you enjoy how I represented it here. -Staci Sadler, Artist
